Laura and Jake's wedding in Exeter dawned sunny but thunderstorms were forecast! I made sure I had my clear umbrellas in the car to protect Laura's hair. Bridal preparation photos were taken in St Leonards with bridesmaids and parents, with gorgeous airbrush make-up done by Lucy Milton. The flower girls were very excited about walking down the aisle of the very impressive St Michael's and All Angels Church in Heavitree. We dodged the downpours after the ceremony and managed to get confetti and 'all guest' shots outside the church. Husband and wife and I then bombed down to Exeter Quay where the happy couple travelled to their reception at The Double Locks by boat (courtesy of Exeter Cruises) enjoying fizz as they went. The Double Locks marquee provided lovely light for the reception photos where the 100+ guests enjoyed tasty fish and chips and scones and jam', and the bride and groom laughed all day enjoying their day with their sons, family and many friends. A very jolly wedding!
